Alibaba is providing broadcast and media professionals covering the Tokyo Olympics with the Alibaba Cloud Pin, which enables staff at the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) and Main Press Center (MPC) to connect and interact Contact information on social media in a safe and interactive way.
The pin serves as a multifunctional digital name tag that helps users meet and greet, add people to their friends list, and share daily activity updates like step counts by tapping their pins together at arm’s length.
Pins work in conjunction with the Cloud Pin app on paired mobile devices.
Designs featuring any of the 33 sports in the Tokyo 2020 program can be unlocked by completing tasks such as making new friends.

Alibaba Cloud is the official cloud services partner of the IOC and will offer cloud computing infrastructure and cloud services from Tokyo 2020.
