Elden Ring Hackers add CJ from GTA San Andreas to PS4 demo

Elden ring won’t be out until February 25th next year, but that hasn’t stopped modders from adding some really hilarious content to the game. Thanks in part to the new ease when jailbreaking the PS4, could add a modder Grand Theft Auto San Andreas’ iconic Protag Carl “CJ” Johnson for Prunfortunately limited in time Elden ring Network test demo.

the Elden ring Network testing was a four day affair that originally ran from November 12th to 15th. It should be, but players with custom firmware managed to modify the network test demo to run indefinitely. And some modders went out of their way to find content. ONE Modder going from dropoff was able to import the iconic San Andreas Protagonist in the high fantasy universe of FromSoftware (h / t AltChar).

Just watch him gallop around on horseback, stabbing some idiots in the back:

Aside from being able to walk around in this medieval world, CJ can also fight with the same animations as that Elden ring Player character. When CJ goes into town with a poor soldier, he aims for the full kill animation. At the very end of the video you can also watch him fight skillfully from his horse.

At first I was a little concerned that he wore no armor other than his signature sleeveless shirt and jeans. But, you know what? He seems to be doing quite well. So far, CJ doesn’t seem to have any enemies in the Lands Between other than those he wants to preemptively beat up. Perhaps he is better off there than ever in the enemy streets of San Andreas.

The funniest part of the whole thing is the fact that someone played a soul-like that was co-created by George RR Martin and made that decision Grand Theft Auto was the perfect crossover. You’re not wrong, it’s the mashup that probably neither of us knew we wanted. By the time the full version hits next year, we may see a number of other unlikely mashups for FromSoftware’s previously difficult-to-play preview. The magic of console jailbreaks and modding.
