Kanye West took steps to prove to his 12.1million Instagram followers that he was behind a series of ranting posts over the course of Sunday night.
The 44-year-old rapper took aim at Pete Davidson in a series of posts on the social media channel, before posting a snap of himself to let fans know he was the one posting.
Kanye, now legally known as Ye, held up a piece of paper with a handwritten note that read, “My account is not hacked. 2 13 22.”
He posted three pictures of himself holding up the page and two had his head covered in his now normal style.
He captioned the post: “My account is not hacked. I will be in Sunday service at noon and will do so [sic] puts North and Saint in the Superbowl shortly thereafter.
“@chethinks I’ll double whatever they pay you just so you never have to see that pawn again. Great love.”
Pete’s Saturday Night Live co-star Michael Che didn’t have an offer from Yes, however, and responded on his own account with a series of quip notes of his own that read, “Sorry Ye but I would never betray my friends… for less than that.” triple salary.”
Che continued, “That’s right, $90,000 a year!”
He went on to tease his list of demands: “Completely medical. Completely dental. Four weeks vacation. corner office. Plus, a pair of Red Octobers. size 12
“And you gotta make some beats for my band, The Slap Butts. And I need you to tell me what you’re going to wear to work the night before to make us look like twins.
“You do this for me, and I rambo the whole building.”
Kanye had uploaded a series of rants in which he blasted his estranged wife Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete.
In one instance, the All Falls Down star let loose on the comic, branding it a “d***head” and mocking his Hillary Clinton tattoo.
He also shared a message from Pete, who appeared to be responding to Kanye’s remarks.
Pete shared a close-up of the DM and appeared to say that he would never get in the way of him and his kids and that how he and Kim Kardashian raise their kids is their business, not him.
Pete ended what appeared to be a rather polite message by saying, “I hope one day I can meet her and we can all be friends.”
But it seemed the rapper had other ideas as he declared, “NO THEY WILL NEVER MET MY KIDS.”
Kanye has since shared videos of him at the Superbowl as the drama continues.
