The official website of the Delhi Government Railway Police (GRP) was hacked on Saturday by DragonForce, the Malaysian hacking group leading an ongoing cyberattack on India since June 10.

Dubbed OpsPatuk, the cyberattack was announced in retaliation for suspended BJP spokesman Nupur Sharma’s recent derogatory comments about the Prophet Mohammed.

The GRP website in Delhi became the latest Indian government website to be hacked and defaced by DragonForce, which has been assisted by at least four other hacking groups so far.

The home page has been replaced with a message claiming responsibility for it.

“You can burn our mosques and our houses and our schools, but our spirit will never die. This is a special operation to insult our Prophet Muhammed SAW (sic),” the statement said.

In Maharashtra alone, over 70 websites, including three government portals, have been hacked since June 10. All hacked websites were subsequently restored by the authorities.
