What are we all playing this weekend?

This week heralds more changes as we are joined by our new buddy Rebecca Jones! Rebecca is our new guide writer and has recently done a fabulous job on VG 247. In fact, it was so good we grabbed her for the tree house. Although the only thing that really matters to me is that she likes The Sims 4. Everything else can get stuck. Be on the lookout for more of Rebecca in the area, as well as a fuller fanfare for her later.

There are now games to play with. We’re everywhere this week. And every week, Amirit?

Playing the Watch Dogs: Legion DLC rekindled my passion for hacktivism, so I’ll either play more Legion OR maybe even return to Watch Dogs 2 to stare at Wrench in his glory days.

Alice0 is gone.

Colm has been fired and / or is working on new Indies Uncovered videos for PAX!

I created a little Lalafell character named Mister Onions in Final Fantasy XIV because his hair is shaped like an onion. In the words of Persil Bio Waschtabs, it is small but powerful. Or to be powerful soon, all I have to do is spend thousands of hours getting it to the max level. Aside from working on it, I’ll be watching football home on Sunday.

A beautiful village for Katharine

It’s a Monster Hunter: Rise and Village Romance double-decker sandwich for me this weekend, with maybe a dollop of Mass Effect Legendary Edition on the side if I make it. These monster steaks are so filling …

Since I’ve finally returned and finished Dishonored, this could be the weekend to move the story forward – can’t make up my mind whether to go straight to the sequel or play the two DLC pieces I insisted the Podcast is called Captain Stabbo and The Witches of Eastwick.

Yesterday I tried Muck with the boys after seeing that it was free to play and so far it had been well received. It’s a survival crafting game released last month by a popular YouTuber that I had never heard of until now. It’s very silly, but brilliant at times. But that’s probably not what we’re going to play this weekend. After playing it for a while, we decided that it had some similarities to Risk Of Rain 2. And then we found out that we had never played Risk Of Rain 2 together in co-op. So we will probably do that instead.

The first week on a new job is always busy, even if you’re having a great time, so I choose not to overload my weekend breakdown plans. Mostly, I think I’ll be on my Switch, compete in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons summer fishing tournament on Saturday, and then rock out at the KK Slider show on Sunday.

But you, reader, you naughty little quiche, what are you playing this weekend?

[Side note: the header image is Frostbitten Sun by Gustave Doré. I was intending to find a nice illustration of a pretty sun or stars but I fell in love with this dismal, grim fellow when I saw him]
